Tips for Starting Out
Creating a Profile Picture: In either Facebook or Instagram, make your profile picture a 312 x 312 image. A best practice is to create a document of that size in Photoshop, Canva or Adobe Express, then upload a PNG or high-resolution version of your logo and center it (vertically and horizontally). This will allow for the circle around your logo on the platform to not cut any of your logo off, and make your business look more progressional!

Difference between Business Pages and Personal Pages:
A personal page is used when the user wants to connect with friends and family, has personal updates, or wants to join a group. It is not an appropriate place to share information or updates about a business or organization. It can often be seen as unprofessional when used in this manner.
A professional page is the proper place to make any announcements or share information and updates about one’s business. This will be the page in where content will be posted in order to develop and establish a public and professional presence and can be used to advertise which cannot be done on a personal page. Business pages that post often have a much better chance of increased engagement and are seen as more professional and trustworthy.
